About the project:
"Members of Free Art and Technology (FAT), OpenFrameworks, the Graffiti Research Lab, and The Ebeling Group communities have teamed-up with a legendary LA graffiti writer, publisher and activist, named TEMPT ONE. Tempt1 was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2003, a disease which has left him almost completely physically paralyzed… except for his eyes. This international team is working together to create a low-cost, open source eye-tracking system that will allow ALS patients to draw using just their eyes. The long-term goal is to create a professional/social network of software developers, hardware hackers, urban projection artists and ALS patients from around the world who are using local materials and open source research to creatively connect and make eye art."
Friend and world famous writer, APEX breaks down the evolution of handstyles and techniques from a San Francisco perspective. Part of The Infamous Magazine issue 4, which is out now. Watch and learn.

The purpose of the Style Wars Restoration Project auction is to raise awareness and monies to restore the original negative of the first hip-hop documentary. Style Wars isn’t only the first film of its kind capturing the spirit of the original artists who gave birth to this would-be global movement, it’s also a historical document and portrait of New York City that captures its dramatic decline in the last century and the creative spirit of the youth who gave birth to a worldwide cultural movement. Proceeds from the auction will benefit The Style Wars Restoration Fund through Public Art Films Inc., an organization dedicated to producing films and videos about grassroots cultural expressions. For more information about the film and the restoration project, please visit stylewars.com.

“Graffiti is kind of like that one girlfriend that you end up psycho-obsessing over.”
The London-based team behind Crack & Shine are out to remind people that there is a vast difference between “street art” and ‘graffiti”, and their latest project does this well. Focusing on the latter, Crack & Shine Intl. is a book (and soon to be released film) that is less museum, and more mayhem - with an honest depiction of graffiti subculture on a global scale.
The 288 page book is available now, including a forward by Ben Eine, features with ESPO, NOXER, ROID, KATSU and many others from around the world. The adjoining film is due out this June.
