Celebrating 10 years of collaboration, Florida-based artists Bask & Tes One revisit their seminal Pound and a Bear Hug exhibition with an all-new collection of paintings, prints and installations.
From a small crew of writers formed in the 90’s, grew unique and signature artistic styles for the two artists. The first Pound and a Bear Hug exhibition opened to a wide reception at Tampa’s Covivant Gallery in 2005, and would become the first of many collaborations; propelling their works around the world, inside galleries and outside of convention.
10 Year later – Pound and a Bear Hug returns to Tampa, with a carefully intersecting body of work that is both autobiographical in meaning and collective in purpose. Please join the artists at the opening reception on Friday, April 24th at CASS Contemporary.
On Friday, December 5th Bask and I will be back in SF with an all new exhibition of work @ 1:AM Gallery. Info from the press release below:

For Florida-based artists Bask and Tes One, “Side By Side” signifies much more than the arrangement of their works; it also marks a 20-year friendship founded on graffiti art, comic books and intemperate creativity. From a small crew of writers (SBS), grew unique and signature artistic styles – propelling their works around the world, inside galleries and outside of convention.
